The web design process
INITIAL MEETING: We need to meet with you to go through exactly what it is that you need, work out a suitable strategic approach and to be able to give you accurate costs.
We will also look at an approximate schedule to collate all the assets (images and content), progress through the design stage, and set soft launch (testing) and final ‘go live’ dates.
SITE MAP: We will send you an easy to understand site map (New sites only) demonstrating where everything sits within your proposed website.
Once the site map is adjusted (if required) and approved, we will then start to build the site, either hidden on your current host platform or on our own development server.
DESIGN & BUILD: Provided we have all of the assets we need, we will progress with development and, at ket points, we will send you a link with temp access to view the site in progress.
As there will be a lot of to-ing and fro-ing during this period, it is the most time consuming stage, but we want to make sure we get it just right for you.
APPROVAL & TEST: Assuming you have approved the website in priciple at the previous stage, we will go through a final testing period to allow you to play with the site, in full and make any last minute amends you may need. Amends will be limited to three sets at this time.
Once tested and approved, we will launch the site for you – and hey presto a shiny new website is all yours.
